Parking Escape guide: slide the blocked cars out

Parking Escape is a 6 by 6 lot. Cars slide along their length, and the target car has to leave through the exit on the left. There are 50 levels.

Rules

  • A car only moves along the way it is parked. Horizontal cars go left and right. Vertical cars go up and down.
  • Another car in the way blocks that slide.
  • The level clears when the target car leaves through the left exit.
  • The par number is the move count that solves that layout.

Time limit

Every level has a clock. The shortest limit is 30 seconds. Levels with a higher par get more time: take 18 seconds plus 1.5 seconds times the par, round up, and use that if it is above 30.

The timer changes appearance at 5 seconds or less. Hitting zero fails the attempt.

50 levels and rank

Levels run from 1 to 50. Continue resumes the level you had reached. The ranking records how far you got, under the nickname you submit.

Clearing the cell in front of the target car usually wastes fewer moves than sliding a blocked car back and forth. The shortest path still changes with the layout.
